Letter Playtime

Last week I stopped into my friend Pam Albert’s wonderful shop Papier Gourmet in Portland to grab some goodies on sale and spotted this ADORABLE wrapping paper by Sukie. I knew right away that I would have to cut up the letters, numbers, and symbols into laminated cards for some letter playtime with my 4-year-old Tucker. In honor of font day on one of my favorite blogs, Design*Sponge, I thought that today would be the perfect day to blog on this darling little project. My reward for all the trimming?  Tucker had a great time spelling his favorites:  hi, Tucker, stop, and go.  All I need to do now is to put a sheet of this adorable paper in a frame to hang in Tucker’s room. Won’t it just be splendid!

Alicia - You are just too talented.

Molly P-H - How did you laminate them? It doesn’t look like the shiny lamination from a Kinko’s … it looks more like clear contact paper? I like your lamination better than Kinko’s :).

catepillar17 - I have a laminating machine: a Xyron900. One of the best gifts I have ever received! It works for making stickers and laminated things, which is sweet!

Kelly - I’m loving that Abbey Road t-shirt! Where did you find it?

catepillar17 - Hi Kelly! Old Navy if you can believe it! It’s a keeper! Thanks for leaving a comment! =)

Molly P-H - Thanks! I’ve been thinking of getting a lam machine. Good to know u like your Xyron900! Thanks!
